You GO FROM DREAM TO ACTION

blue water sailing seminar

You're dreaming of discovering the world on a sailboat, but you're still asking yourself questions: What's the best way to prepare before setting off? What route should you take? Which places to visit and which not to? How do you plan your social and family life during the trip? What equipment should you choose on board? To help you answer these questions, the Grand Large Yachting group organizes 2-day seminars several times a year, featuring experts and owner testimonials.

Financing

Congratulations on ordering your Garcia! We're here to help you every step of the way, including financing. If leasing is the solution that suits you best, we can direct you to specialised organisations to help you set it up.

Configuration

You've chosen the model that suits you and its layout, and you naturally want to personalise it. Type of sails, additional deck fittings, on-board power generation, watermaker, comfort equipment such as heating, type of stove, fabrics, wood species... Our Customer Centre will work with you to precisely define the final configuration of your boat before production begins.

Training

Setting sail on the world's seas is no trivial matter, even with an exceptional yacht. Preparing the boat, the skipper and the crew, sharing control and building trust are essential to the success of any blue water cruising project. That's why Garcia Yachts through EFT, the blue water cruising technical training school of the Grand Large Yachting group, offers you a complete training program, from the planning phase through to delivery of the boat.

Production monitoring

During the various stages of your boat's construction, you are welcome to visit the metalwork shop or the boatyard. This allows you to fully understand your boat's construction process, and to visualise the installation of the various systems at this stage. We also provide you with photos to monitor the progress of production at each major stage.

administrative procedures

Registration, MMSI procedures, first nights in port... Our Sales Administration team will help you with these administrative procedures before delivery of your boat.

delivery and commissioning

The big day has arrived, your boat is in the water and you're taking possession of it! We're at your side for this unique moment. Together, we'll spend 5 half-days so that you can discover every nook and cranny of your boat and familiarize yourself with the on-board systems. We'll also guide you through the first maneuvers, both under sail (adapted configuration, reefing, hoisting all sails, etc.) and under engine (harbour manoeuvres, picking up a mooring, anchoring, etc.).

#3
You have taken delivery

Post-delivery check

Your boat has been delivered to you, and an important period of running-in begins. Over the next three months, you'll be asked to take your boat out on the water to try out all the different systems. At the end of these three months, you return to one of the Grand Large Yachting Group's bases, where our teams will go through a complete boat checklist with you. You and your boat are then ready for the big start!

Warranty

Your Garcia is guaranteed for two years. During this period, as far as the life of the boat is concerned, your contact is the Warranty Department, who is introduced to you when the boat is delivered. On this occasion, he or she will introduce you to the exchange tool we use, which enables everyone to keep track of any events and their proper handling by us.

Services

Have your sailing plans evolved and do you want to install new equipment on your Garcia? Replacement of navigation equipment, installation of solar panels, a generator or other heating system, replacement of coverings, the Grand Large Yachting Services team will listen to you, advise you and support you in your upgrades.

And of course, even before you set sail and for the duration of your voyage, we're here to help you with your spare parts needs.

RALLIES

Would you like to go on a round-the-world, Atlantic or Mediterranean cruise, but prefer to do it as part of an organisation and a fleet? The owners of Garcia Yachts can take part in the rallies organised by the Grand Large Yachting group! Along the way, you'll alternate official stopovers, some of them technical, with periods of free sailing. The organisation takes care of some administrative matters, overnight stays in marinas at official stops and contacts for technical stops (careening, work, wintering, ordering parts...). A superb opportunity to surpass your own limits, thanks to the bonds and mutual support you'll find within the fleet, with the support of our teams.
