The Garcia Exploration 45, the first model in the range, was designed in collaboration with renowned sailor Jimmy Cornell, in anticipation of taking on the Northwest Passage. Aluminium hull, centreboarder, twin rudders, inverted coachroof, deck saloon, thermal insulation, watertight door, double glazing... This model, radical in its approach and design, laid the foundations - at 45 feet / 14 metres - for the Exploration range, the new benchmark in blue water cruising yachts.
