The story of Garcia Yachts’ Exploration sailboats is at the combination of three stories. That of the Garcia brothers, founders of the shipyard; that of Jimmy Cornell, experienced navigator and “father of blue water cruising”; and that of the Grand Large Yachting Group and Berret Racoupeau Yacht Design, who have been designing remarkable sailing yachts together since early 2000. From their encounter were born the most successful exploration sailboats imaginable today.
The Garcia Exploration range brilliantly renews the concept of the aluminium centreboarder, allowing you to explore ever new horizons.
Combining the qualities of a catamaran, of aluminium and of Garcia’s know-how opens up new perspectives for serious blue water cruising. Space, comfort and performance are now standard at all latitudes.
When the founder of the Garcia shipyard wanted a truly offshore motor yacht, a specialized naval architect, two renowned designers and a shipyard as experienced as Garcia Yachts were involved, the result could only be extraordinary.

On your return from your blue water adventure, if you decide you want to sell your boat, we will be there to help you and guide you. A department dedicated to brokerage has been created within Grand Large Services to promote the sale of boats built by the Grand Large Yachting group of which Garcia Yachts is a part. This unit also aims to facilitate exchanges between sellers and buyers by ensuring appropriate communication, securing all transactions and taking care of all the administrative formalities of the sale.
