The Garcia Explocat 52 is the winner of the 4th edition of the Multihull of the Year contest, in the 45 to 55 feet category.
Organised by the magazines Multicoques Mag and Multihulls World, published in French and English respectively, this competition is a high point for the international multihull industry, in which Garcia Yachts has been fully involved since the launch of the Explocat 52 in July 2020.
Opposed in this contest to competitors who have in common that they are made of composites, the aluminium catamaran of Garcia Yachts shows a clear victory, since she won 39% of the votes expressed by a jury of specialized journalists.
In addition to this professional recognition, the Garcia Explocat 52 also won the Internet users’ vote. Garcia Yachts would like to thank all those who voted for this model, whose number 2 unit will be launched in a few weeks.
