The Blue Water Cruising Seminar is the event you are waiting for to discover the journey in the eyes of those who have experienced it. So bring your doubts, your ambitions, your dreams, none of your questions will remain unanswered.
Blue Water Cruising Seminar
“We want these 2 days to be really useful for the participants to help them in putting their projects together. For everyone to feel at ease, we’re not going to allow any discussion about boats from the Group. Although organized by Grand Large Yachting, we won’t be talking about Grand Large Yachting.
The increasing success of this seminar, which has sold out for several editions, testifies to the real need to find a place for exchange of quality answers to questions posed by aspiring blue water cruisers.
What strikes me most is the depth of the exchanges that are sometimes bordering on the intimate. We come to this seminar with questions, we leave with friends“
Stéphan Constance
The Seminar
Are you dreaming of sailing around the planet, but haven’t yet found answers to all your questions?
We organize The Blue Water Cruising Seminar just for you: the perfect opportunity to answer all your questions. It takes place twice a year, the first in Annapolis, USA and the second in Paris, France.
The Blue Water Cruising seminar is an exceptional event where audiences from all walks of life, cruising addicts or those who are still hesitating, can meet and testify to their respective projects and adventures.
Sailing as a couple, as a family (with 6 children!), circumnavigating, crossing the Atlantic or the Pacific, on a catamaran, a monohull, under sail or motor – everyone has a beautiful story to tell.
The Blue Water Cruising Seminar is also an opportunity to build relationships and make life-long friends with people as bold and passionate as you.
2 intense days at a unique event, and on the programme:
- talks on the main themes of the blue water cruising (routes, weather, medical, safety, communications…),
- discussions with experienced sailors,
- many friendly moments to interact directly with the speakers and other participants,
- Jimmy Cornell, author of World Cruising Routes, World Cruising Handbook and Cornells’ Ocean Atlas, and sponsor and guide of this seminar, will be present throughout the weekend,
- a breakfast, two lunches, and a dinner conference included.
