For more than 40 years, Garcia Yachts has been a privileged partner, designing and building the most beautiful boats for the most beautiful journeys. A unique history and know-how acquired from hundreds of owners, first French, then European, then American, Australian or New Zealanders. Over the years, their accumulated experience has led them to draw up specifications for the ideal long-distance cruising yacht. We feel immense pride and pleasure in building it for you.
Designed for blue water cruising
Specifications
Unlike coastal sailing, blue water cruising raises the level of demands placed on your boat and brings many specific features. Really different boats that will allow you to reach the last virgin spaces, with complete confidence. Because a Garcia is always designed and built according to precise specifications, ensuring performance, robustness, reliability, endurance and comfort.
In complete serenity
To ensure that you can enjoy every moment of your trip, we do everything in our power to ensure that it runs as smoothly as possible. Softening movements, shortening distances through performance, protecting from the cold or the sun, properly dimensioning the fittings, selecting the best equipment, carefully designing ergonomics and comfort, are essential on all our boats. Beyond these very important technical aspects, we are also at your side to advise you, guide you towards specific training, accompany you and serve you throughout your travels, anywhere in the world.
Solidity at all times
Aluminium is of course Garcia Yachts’ historical speciality, and it is above all the best technical choice for a hull that will have to sail intensely, in search of the most remote and isolated anchorages on the edge of our planet. A unique guarantee of solidity, made possible by exceptional mechanical qualities.
The choice of components (fittings, rig, sails, navigation electronics, etc.) and comfort equipment (heating, air conditioning, watermaker, etc.) is made with the highest reliability and performance objectives. Our boats are thus ready to face all the risks of sailing on the most distant seas.
Short-handed sailing
Blue water cruising is often enjoyed by two people on board, or even alone when your partner is resting. Our boats are therefore designed for easy sailing when short-handed, while of course offering the possibility of welcoming more crew members very comfortably.
All sail handling is therefore grouped together in the cockpit to meet this requirement. The dimensioning of the fittings, their positioning, the reduction of chafe, the electrification of the most physical manoeuvres, the protection of the cockpit: everything contributes to facilitate your sail trimming and handling, so that you never hesitate to reduce sail or shake out a reef, so that everything always remains, easily, under your control.
Flawless comfort
Warm and welcoming, our boats offer you the most comfortable refuge you can imagine on the water, in the open sea or in a remote anchorage. Once the double watertight door is closed, the interior is calm and warm. You continue to guide your boat from the forward-facing navigation station, with a 270-degree view, well protected from the elements. The interior layout makes it possible to optimize watchkeeping for a restful sleep, preserving a cosy space for everyone. You’ll feel great everywhere on board a Garcia.
Enhanced autonomy
The design and equipment of our yachts ensure your autonomy both at sea and at anchor. Solar panels, wind generator, hydro generator and genset will produce all the necessary power. Large storage volumes for water, diesel, supplies, equipment and personal effects have been provided. Equipped with a watermaker, you can produce as much fresh water as you need.
